Dr. Jorge Gardea-Torresdey
Tribute to Jorge Gardea-Torresdey at the 12th Sustainable Nanotechnology Organization (SNO) Conference - November 2023 in Marina del Rey, California
The 12th SNO Conference's "Tribute to Jorge Gardea-Torresdey" session honored the many scientific contributions of Dr. Gardea-Torresdey. The session included poster and platform abstracts from former and current students, collaborators, and colleagues. The focus was on all aspects of "environmental nanotechnology, nanotoxicology, and nano-enabled agriculture and water treatment".

Dr. Carlos Cabrera
Dr. Cabrera is honored at ACS Puerto Rico's 46th ACS Senior Technical Meeting - November 2023 in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico
The Board of Directors of the ACS Puerto Rico section presented the Waldemar Adam Award to Dr. Cabrera at the 46th ACS TEchnical Meeting in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. The award is given to the person that has made outstanding contributions to chemistry in Puerto Rico, nationally, and beyond.
